Warnings for kids in a tub and one nursing shot. Also, I promise I do have a husband and we did see him this day. He just never wants to be in the pictures.
My camera is downstairs when I wake up. Owen is already eating muffins and playing on the computer.
Back upstairs Annabeth is still sprawled out on the bed.
Watch a couple youtube videos, including one from my good friend Jessica (on the left).
Stinky butt needs a bath.
Owen gets called up to get one too.
Wash a load of clothes once the kids are clean.
Annabeth entertains herself with the door stopper.
Open all the blinds to get some sunlight in the house. Brandon has to leave for his first morning of physical therapy.
Unload the dishwasher and tackle the sink full of dishes.
Once the morning "chores" are done I finally eat breakfast.
Put the laundry in the dryer.
I finally get around to cleaning the washing machine.
Now that Annabeth is a better crawler I have to clean the floors more often.
Husband calls (at 11:47am) and says he's on his way home so I get lunch started.
Pop the ham and cheese pinwheels in the oven.
Eat lunch (and a Peanut Butter Truffle Brownie) while watching Psych.
Laundry is dry so I fold it.
Start a load of rugs since Annabeth peed on one before her bath this morning.
I try to add a song to my iPhone, only to realize that I can't figure out how to do it.
First nap for the teething monster. Brandon gets a call from work and has to leave earlier than normal.
Owen and I color pictures while sister sleeps.
Back to the laundry room to clean it since it's a mess. I add another victim to the Lost Sock Drawer.
Clean off the dining room table.
Then add bills to the Budget Binder.
Baby Beth is awake and happy after her hour nap.
Give her some "nums" as we call it in our house.
Once she's done we head to the park!
Owen is sad there are no other kids to play with, but he quickly gets over it.
Love my baby-cakes.
Working on pumping his legs. (I first wrote "pumpkin" his legs. Guess my mind's on Halloween since my mom and I were just talking about costumes earlier today.)
Walking to the mailboxes we see pretty flowers growing out of someone's fence.
Once we get home I clean out my messy car while Owen plays and Annabeth is still happy.
Maybe if you didn't try to eat dirt out of the cracks in the cement I'd let you play on the ground, Annabeth!
One neighbor asked to play and the next thing I know all the neighbor kids are at our house.
We go inside when all the kids leave and I offer to help clean the playroom.
Annabeth bangs on pots and "sings" into the microphone while we clean.
Owen declares Movie Night! He picks Lilo & Stitch to watch first while I make dinner.
Chicken sandwich (kids had nuggets), mac n cheese, green beans, and a nectarine.
Annabeth chows down. My little piggy ate a whole nugget and half of everything else.
We play in the playroom until about 7:15, when the above happens. Owen gets sent to bed early and spends 10 minutes crying about a toothbrush he threw away a few days ago and 20 minutes asking to go back downstairs and promising that he'll be good and "never kick sister again" before finally calming down enough to go to sleep.
Nurse Annabeth down once Owen's okay.
Now it's mama time so I eat ice cream and watch TV (Who Do You Think You Are? and America's Got Talent) until Brandon gets home around 9:45pm.
Angry Baby is angry when I put her PJs and night diaper on.
I conclude the evening by re-reading The Notebook since I'm trying to re-read all of Nicholas Sparks' books before his new one comes out in September.
